Achilito's Taqueria is at 38 Hyde Park Avenue, Jamaica Plain
"This weekend we will have a soft opening serving tacos, burritos, bowls nachos and queso," said Margaret Pimental to Jamaica Plain News. "We proudly serve USA wild gulf shrimp, Red's Best locally caught cod, and local tortillas from corn grown here in Massachusetts."
Achilito's website says they will open at 11 am on Saturday.
The menu includes nine varieties that can be made as tacos, burritos, quesadillas or bowls. The nine varieties are: pescado, grilled red chili shrimp (ask for the fuego sauce), carne asada, brisket, carnitas, al pastor, lime chicken, Yucatan chicken and grilled veggie. They're all served with guacamole, crema, cilantro and onion, plus your choice of salsa.
"Fresh food tastes the best so we purchase fresh produce to create delicious minimally processed food. We are proud to serve our community quality food and in turn help other local small businesses," said Pimental.
