Boston Police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead, one person with life-threatening injuries and a third person stabbed in an apartment building on Bickford Street on late Monday afternoon.

Around 5:45 pm, Boston Police responded to a report of a shooting at 60 Bickford St. Upon arrival one male in his 30s was found dead from a gunshot, a female in her 30s was also shot and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Boston Police Officer Jamie Kenneally. A third male in his 30s was stabbed and transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

Boston Police believe that three individuals knew each other and it is an isolated incident not related to other recent violence that has happened in the Jackson Square area, said Kenneally.

The victims were found inside an apartment building, but it was not initially clear where in the apartment building they were found, be it in an apartment, in a hallway or another location.
