Susanna is coming to Jamaica Plain. A women's boutique, Susanna, with one store in Cambridge, will open its second location in July replacing a longtime Centre Street business.

Jamaica Plain resident Amy Driscoll was planning to open her second boutique in the new commercial space at 7 Burroughs St., but changed course when Fire Opal announced it was leaving its 683 Centre St. location.
Driscoll told Jamaica Plain News that she was approached about the Centre Street space when it became available and she couldn't pass it up. She will be moving in July, and Fire Opal is closing in June. She hopes to open the new boutique in late August or early September.
"The location, the windows, the space – everything is bigger and better. It’s what that space and the neighborhood needs," said Driscoll.
Open in Porter Square since 1982, the Susanna boutique offers an interesting inventory of women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories.
Driscoll provides the business on providing a "positive shopping experience while also stocking high quality, moderately priced and stylish clothing and accessories for women of all ages and sizes."
