Art, Aristocrats, and Architecture: An Evening with Curt DiCamillo
January 12, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$25
Join us for our popular annual talk with renowned American architectural historian Curt DiCamillo! This year's lecture is “Greed, Lust, and Murder: King Henry VIII, the Tudor Court, and How It Changed England Forever”. We’ll be regaled with a broad sweep of all five Tudor monarchs, encompassing their loves, personalities, art, architecture, and literature, all of which has come down to us today in many and surprising ways. In spite of their extreme shortcomings, there wouldn’t be an England today without the Tudors. Then, enjoy desserts and wine in the elegant Loring-Greenough House Dining Room.
Space and tickets are limited!
