Brew at the Zoo at Franklin Park Zoo

Don’t miss the ninth annual Brew at the Zoo! Brew at the Zoo is a beer-tasting event that offers guests the opportunity to walk on the wild side as they sample offerings from local breweries and restaurants. The entire zoo (weather permitting) will be open for this event, with the exception of the seasonal Butterfly Landing exhibit.
Sip some delicious brews and visit with western lowland gorillas, ring-tailed lemurs, pygmy hippos, and other species in the Zoo’s Tropical Forest Pavilion, as well as giraffes, zebras, kangaroos and many other animals. Don’t miss a visit to Aussie Aviary, a seasonal free-flight aviary featuring brightly-colored budgies.
Wander off the beaten path on a prehistoric journey through time in Franklin Park Zoo’s all-new immersive experience, Destination Dino! You’ll come face-to-face with colossal creatures from the past, from the towering Tyrannosaurus Rex to the emu-like Citipati.
Participating breweries will include 21st Amendment Brewery, Aeronaut Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Bent Water Brewing Company, Bone Up Brewing Company, The Brooklyn Brewery, Cambridge Brewing Company, Castle Island Brewing Co., Clown Shoes Beer, Deadwood Cafe and Brewery, Down The Road Beer Co., Exhibit 'A' Brewing Company, Founders Brewing Co., Harpoon Brewery, Ipswich Ale Brewery, Jack's Abby Craft Lagers, John Harvard's Brewery & Ale House | Cambridge, Lagunitas Brewing Co, Lefty's Brewing Company, Mayflower Brewing Company, Mighty Swell, Moon Hill Brewing Co., Narragansett Beer, Percival Brewing Company, Portico Brewing Company, Samuel Adams, Shiner Beer, Brewery Silvaticus, Start Line Brewing, Stone Brewing, Stormalong Cider, Tap Brewing Company, Tiger Beer, True North Ale Company, Turtle Swamp Brewing, Two Roads Brewing Company, UFO, Whalers Brewing Company, Westfield River Brewing Company, Willie's Superbrew, Zelus Beer Company. Food and other beverages will be provided by 7ate9 Bakery, Back Deck, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, The Honest Company, Red's, Utz Snacks, Wegmans, Willow Tree Farm.
Proceeds from Brew at the Zoo support the operation and continued growth of Zoo New England, its education programs and conservation initiatives.
Transportation will be provided to and from the Forest Hills MBTA station and the Zoo at the following times, running continuously:
-3:30 - 5:30 p.m.: Forest Hills MBTA to Franklin Park Zoo's Giraffe Entrance
-5:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Franklin Park Zoo's Giraffe Entrance to Forest Hills MBTA
Zoo staff will be available to assist in boarding buses.
Please note: This event is 21+.
Franklin Park Zoo will close at 1:00 p.m. in preparation for the event.
