Celebrate Father’s Day at the Zoo!

Help us celebrate your father (and all of ours!) at Franklin Park and Stone Zoos this Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, with free admission for all fathers throughout the day. Bring dad along with the entire family to either Franklin Park Zoo or Stone Zoo for a memorable day spent discovering all of the incredible animals at each Zoo! Be sure to look for all of the animal dads – at Franklin Park Zoo, say hello to Kit the western lowland gorilla and his offspring Kimani, Kambiri and Azize. At Stone Zoo, be sure to stop by the white-cheeked gibbon exhibit to visit dad Kien and his offspring Jian, and a new baby born last November!

Additionally, don’t miss Butterfly Hollow at Franklin Park Zoo. The popular, seasonal exhibit will open June 15 (weather-permitting). At Butterfly Hollow, guests have the opportunity to stroll through this tranquil environment filled with fluttering butterflies. This tented, outdoor exhibit also features several garden beds, a pond, soothing surround-sound music, and fairy houses to discover throughout the space. Butterfly Hollow will be open through Labor Day, September 2.
