Create Your Own Website

Having a website has become a necessity for those working in creative fields. A website enables people to view your artwork online, leads to exhibition opportunities and sales, and builds your brand and audience.  Fortunately, creating and maintaining a visually appealing website that is easy to navigate is simpler than you might expect.

This two-day workshop, presented by Scott Cipolla of the Focusing Series, will cover several DIY website options including Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, and WordPress as well as which website builder best suits your needs.  Learn how to select a web host, register a website domain name, and upload content and images. By the end of the workshop participants will have a home page for their new website.

Students must bring a laptop to both class sessions. PCs and Macs are welcome.

Please note this is a two-day workshop.  Session I is Wednesday, July 20 and Session II is Wednesday, July 27.  Both evening sessions will meet from 6:30-9pm.
