December Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter

December 2, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The December Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter will be held Thursday evening, December 2, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm on the lawn of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street. The guest speaker will be a community organizer from City Life/Vida Urbana, a grassroots community organization that has been a leading force for change in the Boston area for the past 44 years, fighting for racial, social and economic justice and gender equality by building working class power.

The Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter in JP has taken place monthly since late 2015 because we recognize that systemic racism and injustice are woven into the fabric of our society with tragic results for persons of color. We invite everyone to join us as we stand in witness for racial justice and human rights and against white supremacy.
