February 6 Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter Welcomes Sheila North

The February 6 Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter is pleased to welcome as guest speaker Canadian Sheila North, an Indigenous community change leader and film producer, whose 2019 documentary "1200+" examines the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. Following her remarks, there will be a "call and response" reading of names of victims of racist violence and a 20-minute Silent Vigil along Centre Street to witness for racial justice and human rights. Everyone is invited to participate in this monthly event.
