Field Farm Hike

$30 – $36Field Farm covers more than 300 acres of diverse woodland and field habitats. This trip will focus on the flora of the rich woods, including blue cohosh and early blue cohosh growing side by side, eastern leatherwood, long-spurred violet, Goldie’s wood fern, and many more wildflowers. We will have great views of Mount Greylock as we walk through the fields, where bobolinks will serenade us. Bring a bag lunch and a hand lens.
Habitat: northern hardwood forest, rich mesic forest, and calcareous wet meadow
Known For: spring ephemerals, calciphiles
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
