Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary
The Habitat Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary is a 90-acre urban oasis devoted to environmental education. Join us as we explore its deciduous and evergreen forests, meadows, pond, vernal pool, and a beautiful wildflower garden designed many years ago by Will Curtis, founder of Garden in the Woods. We’ll focus on autumn flowers, fruits, and a good measure of natural history. Bring a bag lunch and a hand lens if you have one.
