Intro to MIG Welding Workshop

September 29, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

$150

In this 3-hr overview of MIG welding, you will learn studio and personal safety, how the welding equipment works, and then practice your welds! Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), also known as metal inert gas or “MIG” welding, is a semi-automatic or automatic process that uses a continuous wire feed as an electrode and an inert or semi-inert gas mixture to protect the weld from contamination.

Workshop also available 11/3.

We also offer an 8 hour welding intensive and longer classes running 6 or 8 weeks. Metal casting, stone carving, jewelry making, mold making, and figure sculpture workshops are available. Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!
