JP Movie Night. “A Video Valentine for JP from Rick Berlin”

Rick Berlin: Boston cultural institution, renowned rock musician, artist, author, and JP resident.
He is also a filmmaker.
In 2007 Rick pointed a camera at his beloved hometown; interviewing friends, shopkeepers, fellow artists, neighbors and community organizers, creating a treasure trove of JP history.
Thirteen years later, JP Movie Night presents a fascinating selection of those interviews, along with Rick's recently filmed tribute to Doyle’s (where he was waitstaff for 30 years), and several of Rick's music videos made in/about Jamaica Plain.
He'll also read from his book “the paragraphs.”
Rick will be present to provide background, commentary, and respond to questions from the audience.
