9th Annual JP Music Festival

The JP Music Festival returns for its 9th year, featuring musicians, bands, group, or ensemble members who either live or work in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The festival will have two stages, rotating between them with continuous music for seven hours.

The festival lineup is:

The Deplorables: winner of John Casey’s JP Bar Wars, from Doyle’s Cafe
Rick Berlin w/ The Nickel & Dime Band
Savannah Sly & The Session Players
Smitt E. Smitty & The Feztones
Walter Sickert & The Army of Broken Toys
A printed schedule will be included in all issues of the August 23rd issue of the Jamaica Plain Gazette.
Three area recording studios have generously donated one day of recording time to JP Music Festival performers who will be chosen at random, including Machine Gun Studios, Zippah Recording, and B. Kitty Studios.
The festival will again offer music activities for kids with Jaymz Purtle.
In the coming weeks Stage Sponsor J.P. Licks will again be selling the Official Ice Cream Flavor of the JP Music Festival at all locations called, “Squirrel Nut Zipple.”
