Key Strategies for Dealing with Change

October 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

$145.00

The TrainHR Course is approved by HRCI and SHRM Recertification Provider.

Overview:
We grow up with Fear. As adults, we have become accustomed to the feelings of anxiety, stress, and worry as part of our life in the churn of the business day.CHANGE is the boogey man that triggers these feelings in spades.

Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph. D., a neuroanatomist at Harvard, writes of her experience when she had a stroke in her Left Brain and survived 4 hours of vivid consciousness without fear. She knew she was in physical danger, but she felt no fear. After learning this, I have trained 165 people how to switch brains so that fear disappears. By combining this experience with a Peak Performance State, which my trainers and I have been teaching in seminars in 15 countries for the last 31 years, the novice can control their emotions so that joy, pleasure, contentment are available at a moment's notice. These two largely unknown exercises ready the participant for change in any manner. Everyone's performance improves once fear is erased.

Why should you Attend: If you feel a clutch in your abdomen when you are faced with change, then this presentation will change that spasm. Since change is speeding up, you will face these "clutches" more and more often. You can stop these now. It is time to learn emotion-control strategies to shift your internal thermostat from FEAR to Excitement and CURIOSITY. First, we will explore the different attributes of your two brains then practice erasing fear. Once the fear is no longer part of your emotional experience, nor manifest in your behavior, the pleasant and even exhilarating facets of change will dominate your reality. You will then be in an optimum state of mind to deal with the unexpected events of change. After practicing the "Erase Fear" technique we will demonstrate and work with each of you to create a "State of Excellence". This is a similar exercise to the Olympic athletes preparatory mind-set. These two strategies will change your mind so that you are ready for CHANGE.

Areas Covered in the Session:

  • The Amazing Story of the Left Brain Stroke
  • How to Cancel Fear in 90 Seconds
  • Practice so that this becomes easy, almost automatic
