May Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter

May 5, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The May Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter will be held on Thursday evening, May 5, from 5:30-6:30 pm on the lawn of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street. We are pleased to welcome as our speaker Jamaica Plain resident Kathryn Hall, Ph.D, MPH, Deputy Director of the Boston Public Health Commission. After her remarks there will be a “call and response” reading of names of recent victims of racist violence, followed by a 20-minute stand-out along Centre Street. Everyone is invited to join us in this monthly witness for racial justice and human rights and against white supremacy.
