Salamander Celebration

Join our annual celebration of this shy and beautiful woodland creature and its amphibian cousins that call Garden in the Woods – and perhaps your own backyard –home. You will walk the trails and examine our vernal pools for salamanders and wood frogs and their egg masses. The class will conclude with a salamander craft and an origami jumping-frog contest. Preregistration and payment are required for each adult and child. All family programs are for children with adult companions.
