Silver Lining Mentoring:Community Talks

February 25, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Silver Lining Mentoring is currently in need of dedicated, caring adults to become Life Skills Mentors to youth with foster care experience.  You don’t need a special background to be a mentor, just a desire to be a supportive, consistent presence to a child who needs a stable adult figure.  Mentors are required to commit to spending two evenings a month for a year with their mentee and must be at least twenty-one years old. We are specifically looking for male mentors, mentors with out-of-home care experience, and mentors who identify as people of color. Join us for a Community Talks to learn more about being a mentor! You can sign-up by e-mailing mentor@silverliningmentoring.org or call 617 224-1302.
