South Street Youth Center Fundraiser Gala at Loring-Greenough House

September 11, 2016 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

$50

Please join us for an afternoon of celebrating the South Street Youth Center's 20th anniversary! We'll gather on the lawn at the Loring-Greenough House from 2:30-5:30 PM on Sunday, September 11. Please join us for appetizers, drinks, and a short program celebrating our youth and some key supporters. Our 20th Anniversary Gala awardees are:

  • Bashier Kayou, Community Leader
  • Camile Gonzalez, Parent Volunteer, South Street Youth Center
  • Liz Malia, Massachusetts State Representative
  • Susan Porter, Cooperative Artists Institute
  • Wanda McClain, Vice President, Community Health and Health Equity, Brigham & Women's Hospital
  • Officer Antoinette Cabral, Area E-13 Community Police Department
  • Officer Rafael Rodriguez, Area E-13 Community Police Department

The South Street Youth Center is a small program with a big heart and a huge impact. Walk in the door of the Center any Monday through Thursday afternoon during the school year and you’ll find volunteers and staff helping with homework, kids using the computer lab, art projects happening, dancing, singing and lots of life! During the summer, thanks in part to the financial support of friends and neighbors like you, many kids are able to attend local summer programs and camps.

Please join us in celebrating all the life, joy and leadership this center has brought to our neighborhood -- and help us keep going for another 20 strong years. This event is a fundraiser for the South Street Youth Center, and we suggest $50 per person. Youth and low-income guests are invited to pay what you can and should do so at the event.

We can't wait to see you on Sunday, September 11!
