StonybrookMASS does JP Open Studios!

This weekend (9/28-9/29) during JP Open Studios hundreds of local artists will be showcasing their work. Make sure to stop by Stonybrook for art, demonstrations, and aluminum casting! A number of artists, many of whom are instructors here at the studio, will be showing their artwork. Demonstrations will be going on all weekend, including blackmithing and metal casting.
Cast your own aluminum tile with a scratch block mold! Scratch blocks are available for purchase for $25 or 2 for $40. Carve into your scratch block, a small resin-bonded sand mold, and watch us pour molten aluminum into the mold. Moments later, when the metal is solid and cool, you’ll leave with your own unique aluminum tile!
