Take a Stand Against Gentrification Fundraiser Party

The Green Street Renters Association would like to invite you to "The Space" JP on Thurs September 7th at 6:30pm for an evening of appetizers and community building.

"The Space" has opened their doors so that we may thank current supporters, welcome new supporters, and give updates on the recent legal action being taken by the four Green Street renters against the Mordechai Levin's proposed development on the corner of Green Street and Washington in Jamaica Plain.

We are hoping to raise another $7500 for our next round of legal fees as we approach our first court date this Fall. (Sliding scale ticket or just show up and donate at the event!)

More importantly, we are hoping to build stronger connections between our neighbors and alliances in order to support each other as well as steer our town in a more equitable direction. So get ready to shmooze, because it will be a great time to meet other members of amazing neighborhood organizations in the area and talk about our changing city.

Food and desserts will be provided, plus a cash bar, as well as live music by Old Wave and DJ Jesse Kaminsky!
