Taylor Ho Bynum Sextet

September 21, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

$20

On September 21st, composer & cornet player Taylor Ho Bynum plays his first headlining show in Boston in way too long. His new record 'The Ambiguity Manifesto' will come out the day before on Firehouse 12 Records, and his longtime sextet, which also includes alto saxophone player Jim Hobbs, guitarist Mary Halvorson, bass trombone & tuba player Bill Lowe, bassist Ken Filiano and drummer Tomas Fujiwara, will draw from this work and beyond for this performance.

This show will be Mandorla Music's first production at Hope Central Church in Jamaica Plain. There's parking on site, and the church is a short walk to both Green Street station on the Orange Line and to bustling Centre Street, home to many fine spots for dinner, dessert and drinks.
