Teen Jewelry Intensive Workshop
February 19 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm$475
Wearable art has been around since before there was fire. Explore collections of jewelry throughout history and then work on your own ideas. Copper and brass are utilized while learning basics of jewelry fabrication including: sawing, filing, riveting, soldering and polishing. Silver is also available for purchase. Students should bring their lunch or money for lunch at Ula Cafe (walkable) where we take a group at lunch time. Students should wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
Intensives run 9am-4pm, Tuesday-Thursday.
Metal casting, welding, jewelry making, mold making, and figure sculpture classes are available. Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more!
The Jamaica Plain News calendar is open to all local organizations and businesses.
We examine all submissions after they go live. Here’s the form to add your event. Please be sure to include contact information so we can reach you in case there’s a problem!
