The Walk to End Elder Isolation

May 20, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Formerly called FriendshipWalks, The Walk to End Elder Isolation is FriendshipWorks’ 3rd annual walk and it will raise critical funds to help fulfill FriendshipWorks' mission to end elder isolation and create connections.

The walk route is new this year: it goes around Jamaica Pond and the Emerald Necklace, starting and ending at Rogerson House in Jamaica Plain. Registration begins at 9 am and the walk starts at 10 am.

Walk with a friend or make a new one; bring your dog; walk in honor or in memory of an elder in your life; celebrate a special friendship. Together we can help end the epidemic of elder isolation and loneliness in the communities served by FriendshipWorks. We hope you will join us, and encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to walk with you or support you.
