Walk to End Elder Isolation

May 20, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

The only thing better than a morning walk with a friend around Jamaica Pond is a walk with a purpose – to end social isolation among elders.

The Walk to End Elder Isolation on May 19 benefits FriendshipWorks' programs to keep greater Boston's elders healthy and connected, through friendly visiting, medical escorts, pet program, and more that help elders stay healthy and connected.

Form a team, walk in honor or memory of a special elder, bring your dog, make new friends!  Spend a great morning walking around gorgeous Jamaica Pond, and top it off with a celebratory complimentary lunch! Whether you raise $10 or $1M, or just walk to raise awareness, we hope to see you there!

Get the details at https://www.fw4elders.org/.  You can pre-register, or register on the day at Rogerson House, 434 Jamaicaway, starting at 9 a.m. For questions, email events@fw4elders.org or  call 617-482-1510.
