Winter Trees: Celebrating Conifers
February 28, 2015 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pmFree
David Donovan leads this winter walk in an exploration of the Arboretum’s conifer collection. Beginning from the Bussey Street Gate, he will reveal ways to start identifying some native and non-native conifers by observing their cones, needles, shape, and structure. David has been a National Park Ranger and naturalist at Acadia National Park, taught high school biology, led nature walks throughout New England, and is also a certified arborist.
