Workshop: Fix Your Own Toilet

Homeowners can fix many common toilet problems themselves without calling a plumber, with a little know-how. This workshop will review common places where toilets leak and how to fix them, as well as how to install a replacement toilet (paying special attention to correct installation of the wax ring). We will also take a tour inside the tank and see how to remedy common problems with the flush valve, flapper, and flush handle.
The workshop will be led by Francis Dargon, a plumber with Dargon Plumbing and Heating in Watertown. Fee is $75 for the public, $50 for BBR members.
