Boston Court Appointed Special Advocates is a Social Justice based non profit which offers volunteer opportunities to community members to work with under served children and youth in Foster Care. The volunteers are provided a free training to prepare them for advocacy work with one child/youth. JP Centre/South Main Streets is planning our next Community CleanUp on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. We need volunteers to help us plant flowers at the South Street Tennis Courts, and then clean along Centre and South Streets. Tools and gloves will be provided, but we welcome you to bring your own. Join us for our 32nd Annual Bike-A-Thon on Sunday, June 9, 2019 (rain date, June 23rd). A social change benefit ride for Bikes Not Bombs, our 10, 30, 50 and 100 mile routes are well-supported, and take cyclists through some of greater Boston’s most scenic routes. Join us on Saturday from 9:30am to 12pm as we clean up the Walden Community Garden! We'll have all supplies needed to pull weeds, pick up litter, and prepare the garden for next season!
