Everyone is warmly invited to participate in the April “Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter” on Thursday, April 4 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on the lawn of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street. It will begin by reflecting on the lives of Cedrick Chatman and Adam Toledo, two teenagers whose lives were taken by racist violence, followed by a “call and response” reading of the names of other victims…

Northeastern STEMout Workshop at Jamaica Plain Branch Library
Come for the Northeastern STEMout Workshops featuring fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities for students in grades K-8 on Saturday mornings. The workshops are run by a Northeastern University student volunteer group dedicated to spreading STEM education to students K-8. The program will meet weekly on Saturday mornings and will take place in our Makers Space. Each week, students will learn about a new STEM topic.
