Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Giveaway

Come to this fun-filled, family-friendly day to celebrate native trees. There will be children’s activities and games, interactive art projects, guided tours, tree-climbing demonstrations, an arborist truck on display, workshops on planting and pruning trees, and a native plant sale. Yankee Garden Tour

We’ll begin the day with a tour of the beautiful garden at Old Farm in Wenham, designed by landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman in 1912. This 75-acre bog sanctuary features a 3-acre pond surrounded by a floating sphagnum mat and oak and pitch pine woods. We will see a host of bog plants, including pitcher plants, sundews, and tamaracks.
