Haitian Restaurant Taking Over for 100% Delicias

From the looks of it, it would appear that 100% Delicias cleared out of its Centre Street location, and a new restaurant will open in its place. The new restaurant is called Fritay, and will serve Caribbean cuisine. Fritay means fried food and is a staple of Haitian cooking, and sources confirmed it will be a Haitian restaurant. There was no menu or more info posted in the windows or door. It is next to the former location of Cacao, which closed at the end of last year.

100% Delicias Express Now Serving Up Delicious Dominican Food

100% Delicias Express opened its doors on Centre Street for the first time on Sunday and there was quickly a steady stream of eager customers. 100% Delicias Express is a sister restaurant of the same name on Hyde Park Avenue and both offer a large and varied menu. Unlike the restaurant in Hyde Park Avenue, the new Jamaica Plain spot only has a few tables for customers in its small space at 660A Centre St. The JP version sells 10 different types of empanadas, including a ricotta & spinach version, a crabmeat one and quipe (deep fried bulgur). The empanadas are one of owner Civelis Marte's favorites.
