Do you have a kid who likes comics, graphic novels and hybrid books? Then you'll want to bring them to the all-day Boston Kids Comic Fest in Jamaica Plain on April 28th. The Comics Fest is for parents, guardians, educators, librarians and, of course, kids, to discover and explore "kid friendly" comics, according to the event's website. There will be hands-on workshops for ages five to 12 aiming "at a full immersion experience in the art of creating and choosing comics." Parents and guardians are asked to accompany children to workshops.
