Haunted House, Treats and More at Halloween Festival in Hyde Square

Looking for family friendly fun on Halloween? Stop by Hyde Square Task Force’s annual Halloween Festival for games, activities, a haunted house and treats! The Festival will take place on October 31st from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on the Blessed Sacrament Church Plaza (361 Centre St., Jamaica Plain). This event is part of Hyde Square Task Force’s ¡Viva el Latin Quarter! community programming.


History Happy Hour

How to Pay Your Respects to Mayor Menino

Hello neighbors. Here's your Morning Memo for Friday, Oct. 31. Funeral Arrangements for Mayor Menino: If you'd like to pay your respects to former Mayor Tom Menino, who died Thursday at 71, his body will lie in state at Fanueil Hall at 10 a.m. on Sunday. The funeral Mass, which is private, will take place at noon Monday in Hyde Park.

Participating stores along Centre/Street offer trick or treat from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014.
