Crowd Enjoys Spanish-language Theater in Mozart Park

More than 150 people attended Tuesday’s production of “La Nona,” a comedy written by Argentine Roberto Cossa. Roslindale’s Escena Latina Teatro performed it in Spanish. Here’s a gallery of photos from a lovely night in Mozart Park.

This Tuesday, Hyde Jackson Square Main Street will again be presenting live outdoor theatre at Mozart Park performed by Escena Latina Teatro in Spanish with English scene descriptions. They’ll also be music and entertainment, raffle prizes, food, and vendor displays. While walking to a meeting Monday night, I glanced at the back of the billboards above JP Knit & Stitch. Shreds of banners from the 2011 Whole Foods fight hang there still.
