Richard Heath brings us photos of two new murals in progress in Egleston Square. One is on Weld Avenue and the other at the Elizabeth Stone House property at Westminster Avenue and Washington St.
Our "Throwback Thursday" Photo of the Day doesn't go back far, but it seems an age ago, doesn't it? Many of you will remember the Bella Luna/Milky Way mural that adorned the wall at the night spot's former home in Hyde Square. As many folks remember, the Milky Way announced it would shut down to move to the Brewery in 2008, but the mural remained until painted over when Caffe Aromi moved in a few years ago. Scott Willis took this richly-colored long exposure on Feb. 9, 2008.
Our Photo of the Day comes from Instagram user alenka007, who documents her family's life in JP. Here's a happy little scene with her twins and the family dog at the mural outside Purple Cactus.
