Brewery District Neighborhood Watch Named ‘Crime Watch of the Year’

As part of the festivities at Monday's National Night Out in Egleston Square, one nearby Neighborhood Watch group brought home a special honor. Police named the Brewery District Neighborhood Watch as "Crime Watch of the Year." Several members of the neighborhood group turned out to accept the award. Donna Tremonte, one of the main organizers of the group, said she and John Sheeran had lived in JP for 10 years, but only recently became involved in formally keeping an eye on their street and getting to know their neighbors.
