Sherrill House Names New Director of Expressive Therapy & Recreation, Promotes Local Nurses

Sherrill House, a Jamaica Plain not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, recently announced the appointment of Kshitij Rawal as Director of Expressive Therapy and Recreation, and also promoted several nurses. Rawal is a professional musician and full-time music and expressive therapist at Sherrill House. He is responsible for overseeing the program led by two board-certified music therapists who regularly provide comfort, a sense of community and psychosocial and emotional support for residents through music. “Rawal brings an impressive background and admirable dedication to our residents and community,” said Patrick Stapleton, CEO of Sherrill House, via press release.
