Head-on Collision Claims Two Lives on Jamaicaway

Two women are dead and another passenger is in critical condition after a BMW crossed the center line at Perkins and Jamaicaway, slamming head-on into a Camry. The wreck took place just before 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a report from State Police. The investigation so far indicates the driver of a 2007 BMW 530xi, Jennifer Guzman of Hyde Park, crossed the center line and struck a 2002 Toyota Camry. Two women in the BMW died.

Car Flips in Arborway Crash

UPDATE: Despite how serious the wreck looked, no one was hospitalized. ~~~~~

A wreck on the Arborway Monday drew a response from multiple fire trucks and ambulances, according to a resident who witnessed the aftermath. Although a car flipped over, no one was taken the hospital as a result of the crash, according to State Trooper Reid Bagley. The wreck took place just after 3:30 p.m. and closed the roadway for about an hour. The incident took place between Murray Circle and the Casey Overpass, across from 246 Arborway.


West Roxbury Man Dies in Morton Street Wreck

State Police say a 53-year-old driver died at the scene when his truck left Morton Street and hit a tree. The truck was headed east when the wreck took place just after 10 p.m. Monday, according to State Police. The driver, Lawrence Mulhern of West Roxbury, was the only person in the 2013 Dodge Ram, state police said. The Ram may have been involved in a hit-and-run just before the deadly crash, according to Universal Hub. The truck had struck a van at Morton and Blue Hill Avenue, according to that account.


State Police Investigate Whether Unconscious Woman Was Victim of Crime

If you saw a great deal of police activity around Green and Amory streets on Monday about 7 p.m., here's what we know so far. According to State Police, a 21-year-old woman from a suburb south of Boston was found unconscious by the bike path near Green Street Station. She was only partially clothed, according to David Procopio, spokesperson for the State Police. The woman was taken to Brigham & Women's Hospital. She went in and out of consciousness, but State Police detectives say she had no "obvious external trauma" and couldn't remember what happened before she was found.
