Urbano Project and Egleston Square Main Streets are excited to announce the inaugural Egleston Winter Festival: Lighting the Commons, a day-long arts festival to be held on Saturday, December 12 from 2 to 7 pm in Egleston Square. This intergenerational community festival will feature the “lighting of the tree” with Mayor Marty Walsh at dusk.
Urban Improv, an interactive program for young people that uses structured improvisational theater to teach violence prevention, conflict resolution and decision-making, hosted Boston’s Police Commissioner William Evans at their Youth Unscripted program on Thursday, December 3, at English High School in Jamaica Plain.
