Walden Garden Clean-Up on Saturday, and Open Plots for Gardeners

Community garden plots are hard to come by in Jamaica Plain, so you better be an early bird to voice your desire for one of the open Walden Garden plots. The Walden Garden is currently seeking community members who want their own garden plot for 2021. There is a meet-up at 15 Walden Street, Jamaica Plain on Thursday, March 25 from 6 to 7 pm. Can't make it? Email Cristal Martinez at cmartinez@jpndc.org or call 617-504-1395.

Walden Garden Community Cleanup

Join us on Saturday from 9:30am to 12pm as we clean up the Walden Community Garden! We'll have all supplies needed to pull weeds, pick up litter, and prepare the garden for next season! We'll have coffee, donuts, and a light lunch for our volunteers. The garden is located one block from the Stop & Shop plaza in Jamaica Plain. Thanks in advance and hope to see you there!

Volunteers Wanted for Multiple JP Neighborhood Cleanups on April 21st

Help the community looking good this Saturday as there will be cleanups in four different neighborhoods. Volunteers are wanted and there will be various things to do, so if you can't do heavy lifting -- that's fine! Tools and gloves will be provided, just be ready to get down and dirty for JP. JP Centre/South Main Streets' will be cleaning just what their name indicates -- along Centre and South streets. They will start at 9 am at the South Street Tennis Courts, and then head over to the municipal parking lot across from the Curley School. Tools and gloves will be provided, but you can certainly bring your own.
