Performances at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM; Artist reception will follow the 5:00 PM performance. Music for Ground and Atmosphere is a live, site-specific, instrumental improvisation conceived in response to Frederick Law Olmsted's landscape design and Fog x FLO, Fujiko Nakaya's fog installation throughout the Emerald Necklace park system. Cosgrove, a musician whose work for years has considered different human experiences of landscape and place, will draw on history, ecology, geography, and spaciality, to create a live soundtrack, which becomes as fluid,…

Join an Arboretum staff member and make new discoveries among the trees at the Arboretum as they take on their brilliant fall colors. Is there food for Teddy Bears there? What do you think they would they eat? Would you want to share their picnic? One adult may bring a maximum of three children; suitable for children ages five through twelve.
