January 2 Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter

Everyone is invited to participate in this monthly Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter. In honor of the January 15 Birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we will begin this month's Vigil with a reading of excerpts from his speeches and writings. We invite you to bring a favorite passage to share. The February 6 Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter is pleased to welcome as guest speaker Canadian Sheila North, an Indigenous community change leader and film producer, whose 2019 documentary "1200+" examines the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. The March Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter welcomes guest speaker Donald Maurice Osgood, a Family Advocate at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, this Thursday, March 5.
