Who ever knew cooking could be so funny? Join us for a food-inspired evening with Boston-based performers Vanessa Schukis and Jamaica Plain's Pianist Scott Nicholas, as they present Lee Hoiby’s comic one-act opera, Bon Appétit!, based on the culinary icon Julia Child. Schukis is a recognized actress and a character mezzo who will keep you laughing with her fast-paced rendering of Julia Child in the kitchen. Nicholas, based in Boston, is an accomplished pianist with a repertoire spanning classical and musical theater. Delightful gastronomical songs will round out the evening. Tickets: $30.
