Folksinger Terry Kitchen Performing at Jamaica Plain Library

Award-winning folksinger/songwriter/guitarist Terry Kitchen will perform a free concert on the terrace of the Jamaica Plain Branch Library onThursday July 21 at 6 pm.

The concert is rain or shine and if the weather is bad, it'll move inside. Kitchen will include some summer sing-along favorites as well as his own award-winning songs.

Kitchen's been performing on folk stages across the country since the 1990s, releasing a dozen albums of distinctive, literate musical storytelling. His latest album Lost Songs reached #13 on the national Folk-DJ chart. His songs have won the Mid-Atlantic and USA Song Contests and been runner-up in the John Lennon Song Contest, and have appeared in numerous films.
