Improv Jones Boston featuring MassMouth
Improv Jones Boston does comedy. They specialize in unique home brewed long form and classic fan favorite "whose line is it anyway?" style short form. They are also the producers of The Riot Theater.
On the third Saturday of every month Improv Jones will be collaborating with MassMouth to bring you improv inspired by stories inspired by improv inspired by stories.
The entity "massmouth" started in 2008. Recent winners of DigBoston's Best Storytelling Night (a category basically invented so that the Dig could give them the award!) they are a group dedicated to the art of storytelling and its ability to transform and improve lives.
Improv Jones Boston was founded in February 2006 by Christa Crewdson. After moving to Boston, Christa - a former member of Providence's Improv Jones - decided to start a sister group right here in good old Boston, MA. Now eight years on, Jones is made up of a mix of new and founding members. Jones spent six years performing at Watertown's Arsenal Center for the Arts before moving to Improv Boston's Studio 40 for the last two years. We are happy to be bringing our unique brand of improv to Jamaica Plain.
