Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter

Everyone is warmly invited to the October 6 Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter. Our speaker this month will be Mimi Pichey, a researcher and convener of Hidden Jamaica Plain, a local group researching the history of slavery in our neighborhood.  Please join us to learn about and honor nearly thirty people of African descent who were enslaved in Jamaica Plain. Whether in the present or the past, Black Lives Matter!

The vigil is at 5:30 pm on the lawn of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street, rain or shine.
