Join ESAC for our annual TASTE of Jamaica Plain fundraiser event. We'll enjoy delicious food from a wide variety of neighborhood restaurants, live music, and a silent auction at the Franklin Park Zoo's Tropical Forest exhibit. Your event tickets and auction wins all help support the important community work of ESAC including GED education to help at-risk youth improve their future employment opportunities, home repair assistance to help low income seniors continue to live independently in their homes, and foreclosure…

At this year's Octoberfest ¡Fiesta! we are throwing it back to 1977, the year JPNDC was founded, in honor of our 40th anniversary! A great way to start off your holiday shopping while also supporting the Jamaica Plain Branch Library.  We will offer gently used books and DVDs all with bargain rates (all items just $1 or $2).  Books for all ages and in every genre. Book dealers please note - we ask that you do not use scanners at this December book sale and we will restrict purchases to no more than 20 items at a time.

The Jamaica Plain News calendar is open to all local organizations and businesses.

Not-for-profits post their events for free.

We ask businesses to pay $5 per event, but waive that fee as a benefit for advertisers.

We examine all submissions after they go live. Here's the form to add your event. Please be sure to include contact information so we can reach you in case there's a problem!
