Hero of Campaign for Peace in Northern Ireland to Visit Boston on Sept. 7th

The Irish Social Club of Boston is pleased to announce that Bruce A. Morrison, who played a key role in ending 30 years of armed struggle in Northern Ireland, will be at the Club on September 7.

Morrison will be at the Club (119 Park St., West Roxbury) from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for a reading from "Peacerunner," the book that tells the story of Morrison's heroic contribution to peace.

Author Penn Rhodeen will read from the book followed by an interactive discussion with Morrison, Rhodeen and members of the audience. The event is free and the Club is providing free coffee, tea and an assortment of Irish breads. There will be a cash bar. "Peacerunner" will be available for sale at the event and Rhodeen will autograph copies of the book. For more information, please use this link to the Club's Facebook event site.
