As a news site, we are of course in the business of passing along all the hassles these snow storms bring. But it's important to remember that the snow can actually be a source of enjoyment.
We're lucky in Jamaica Plain to have spaces like the Arboretum and Forest Hills Cemetery where you can quickly get away from fights over space savers, hours of shoveling punctuated by plows undoing your work and other indignities of big snow in a tightly-packed city.
Speaking personally, I certainly felt better after a nice walk in the Arboretum. Here are some photos along those lines.
