UPDATE: A happy ending! Universal Hub shares that the deer was healthy enough to be released, although not in the Arboretum or Franklin Park.

A young deer was captured by Boston Animal Control in a backyard on Jess Street near the Brewery complex Thursday evening.

The deer, a young male, had initially been spotted a couple of hours earlier, reports Universal Hub. It will be taken to the city shelter in Roslindale, and will be released, possibly in Franklin Park or the Arnold Arboretum if it's OK.
